Graduate Volcanology Graduate Student Showcases Research
International Graduate Student Adam Carter (UK) won first place at the ASGSO Grad Student Expo, in the William Pitt Union last month. Adam won first prize for "Best Presentation" and works with the Image Visualization and Infrared Spectroscopy (IVIS) lab with Dr. Mike Ramsey. This is the third year running Geology students have won the competition!
The Grad Expo is an annual event sponsored by the Provost's office and Arts & Sciences, and organized by the Arts & Sciences Graduate Student Organization. It is essentially a forum for graduate students in natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities to come together and present their current research projects.
