Frances Russo, an undergraduate geology major, recently presented her research at the 2022 Lunar Planetary Science Conference. She received funding through the Chris Hapke Memorial Fund - the first student to benefit from this new endowment. Congratulations Frances!
Dr. Dan Bain nominated to committee on risks of Electric Arc Furnace Slag
Dr. Dan Bain will serve on a committee that will assess human health risks associated with the unencapsulated use (e.g., loose ground cover material for landscaping and driveways) of Electric Arc Furnace slag, a byproduct of EAF steelmaking.
