Mark Evans launches new interactive geologic web site!
Dr. Mark Evans has completed work on a new interactive web site designed to provide a summary of sites of geologic interest in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania region. The information is intended for use by University of Pittsburgh students, local K-12 teachers, and the general public.
Users can view images of the regional geologic stratigraphy and local rock outcrops of interset. They can also navigate to these sites by way of a geologic or highway map, and learn about the processes responsible for the rock formations.
