The Pittsburgh Collaboratory for Water Research, Education, and Outreach in the Department of Geology and Environmental Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh is seeking two talented and motivated undergraduates for four-month paid summer internships (May-August 2018).
Our undergraduate student, Austin Jepsky an Environmental Science major, was approved for Green Funding to add to our sustainable garden on the side of SRCC. It will be brought around to the front of our building. The Pitt Sustainable Landscapes Garden, known as Marlie Gardens, was created in 2015 and is a student designed project intended as an example of how sustainable practices and use of native plants can benefit wildlife, aid in storm water management and improve the overall health of our urban environment.
