2018 Universities Council on Water Resources (UCOWR) Annual Water Resources Conference

Congratulations to our graduate students Rebecca Tisherman and Ben Hedin on winning 1st and 2nd place for the poster presentation at UCOWR, held in Pittsburgh this year.  Rebecca won first place for her poster presentation "Alkali Earth Ratios Differentiate Conventional and Unconventional Hydrocarbon Brine Contamination" and Ben Hedin won second place with his poster presentation, "Cation Exchange as a Control on Coal Mine Drainage Geochemistry in Appalachia, Eastern USA".  Third place went to our undergraduate alumni, Garrett Blauch, now a Kent State University graduate student.  Three other graduate students from our department gave poster presentations at UCOWR, Marja Copeland, Angela Chung, and Becky Forgrave.
