Faculty Member Dr. Bill Harbert has been elected to the Society of Exploration Geophysicists Council.

Dr. Bill Harbert was one of two elected representatives for District 4.  It's an elite group that represents geophysics, their council is international.

Special Issue on Shale Gas Geochemistry edited by G&ES Faculty

Professors Brian Stewart and Rosemary Capo co-edited a special issue of the journal Applied Geochemistry, published in July 2015, that focuses on the geochemistry of shale gas extraction and hydraulic fracturing.
