My research interests involve investigating the changes in TIR emissivity spectra over time and space for active volcanic processes. I am using TIR spectroscopy to develop methods of modelling and monitoring volcanic processes, with the aid of geochemical analytical methods, experimental petrology and mineralogy. My main research focus is to improve monitoring, modelling and prediction of lava flow dynamics, through refining remote sensing and flow modelling of basaltic volcanic activity at Kilauea, Hawaii.
