I come from the Dolomites mountains in Italy. Space science and volcanology have always been my main scientific interests ever since I was a child. I studied at the University of Padua where I received my Bachelor's degree in Geological Sciences and my Master's degree in Geology. I studied volcanology during a study exchange in Barcelona, Spain. After my graduation I had an internship in volcanology at GNS Science in New Zealand, and after that another internship in Tonga (Polynesia) at the Geological Services. In these two experiences I have been involved in volcano-monitoring projects, surveys, field campaigns, seismic data analysis, and managed the communications during an eruption episode between our center in Tonga and the MetService. I am working now with Prof. Michael Ramsey on a NASA funded project regarding volcano remote sensing.
