Mobile Air Quality Research Laboratory

The University of Pittsburgh Mobile Air Quality Research Laboratory is a 7’ x 12’, temperature controlled, portable laboratory housed in a 2010 UXT United Cargo Trailer.  Power circulates through a line conditioner and is supplied either through an electrical hook-up or via a low emission Honda generator.  Shockproof rackmounts and shelving house existing instrumentation.  Instrumentation in the Mobile Lab is capable of continuous measurement of gaseous reactive nitrogen concentrations (NO-NO2-NH3), active sampling of particulate matter (PM2.5 and PM10), and active sampling of reactive nitrogen gases for isotopic analysis.
