    Summer field course combining science and policy at Yellowstone National Park. Offered every summer.

Background

An award-winning writer and instructor, Collins previously worked as a writer and writing instructor; he is the author of two books and coeditor of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood: Children, Television, and Fred Rogers, published by the University of Pittsburgh Press, and a chapbook of poetry, Thank You For Your Submission, (Puddinghouse Press, 2008). He has served on a variety of University-wide committees, including the excellence in teaching seminars. He earned his Master of Fine Arts degree from Pitt, and is a miserable hockey player.
