Elliott graduated with his PhD from the University of Florida in 2017, where he studied the organic geochemistry of lake sediments with Mark Brenner. At the university of Pittsburgh he will be spending part of his time repairing and maintaining the isotopic instrumentation in Joe Werne’s lab, and the rest of his time researching organic biomarkers with Dr. Werne and Dr. Abbott.
